Kathryn Bild is the Ex-wife of late Mike Nesmith aka Robert Michael Nesmith who was an American musician, actor, songwriter, novelist, and producer. Her Ex-husband passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, the cause for the death is natural. His death news was confirmed by his family through an official statement, in the statement they mentioned saying Nesmith has passed away at his home this morning ie on Dec 10th peacefully surrounding by his family, friends and it was a natural death.
Further said, At the movement, they would request for the privacy and thanked his fans and friends for the love they shed on him. Talking about his marriage he was married thrice and has four children named Christian Nesmith, Jason Nesmith, Jessica Nesmith, and Jonathan Nesmith.
In 1964 he was first married to Phyllis Ann Barbour and share three children with her and later, in 1976 he married Kathryn Bild, after 12 years of marriage the couple broke up. Later in 2000, he got married to Victoria Kennedy but unfortunately, the marriage did not last for long and they had to divorce in 2011. However, he did not share any children with Kathryn Bild nor Victoria Kennedy, the singer had his fourth child with Nurit Wilde but they never got married.
In 2019 Kathryn Bild Ex-husband Mike Nesmith aka Robert Michael Nesmith told in an interview with Starts at 60 about Bild saying, he had an uncommon relationship with my ex-wives and he revealed, his second wife Kathryn moved back to him when she got very ill, she called him and asked him if he could stay with her as she’s ill and she was under the care of a doctor and it was years that they split each other and he says when he went she was acting crazy in the hospital, he also spoke about his third wife Victoria, he said she moved on and found herself a better life and said they were still in touch with each other.

However, her Ex-husband was best known as a member of the pop-rock band the Monkees and also the co-star TV series The Monkees.
He was also the group’s guitarist and famous songwriter. His famous for penning hits including, ‘Listen to the Band’, ‘Mary, Mary’, ‘Circle Sky’, and ‘The Girl I Knew Somewhere. He has worked alongside Davy Jones, Mickey Dolen, and Peter Tork. Mike Nesmith was born on December 30, 1942, in Houston, Texas, U.S.A, he was 78 years at the time of his death.
He was the only child to his parents Bette Nesmith and Warren, his parents got divorced when he was four years old. Later his mother got married in 1962 to Robert Graham. However, the married did not last for long they divorced in 1975. Later, he and his mother moved to Dallas to be closer to her family and took up clerical work to graphic design, when he was 13 years old, she invented a Liquid Paper, which is a typewriter correction fluid, over years, she built the company Liquid Paper into a multimillion-dollar international company, at the age of 56 she passway away.
During his childhood days, he participated at Thomas Jefferson High School in drama and choral in Dallas. In 1960, he enrolled in Air Force without graduation, he completed his training at Lackland Air Force Base. Later, he was trained as an aircraft mechanic at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls. He also gained a GED certificate and at the Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base, he was permanently placed.
Later, he joined San Antonio College, that’s when he met John Kuehne, and they collaboration songs together and won the first San Antonio College talent award. He took up music and poetry and started composing more songs and began singing at folk clubs in Los Angeles.
At The Troubadour, he worked as the “Hootmaster”. He took part in the Monkees television series. In 1970, he formed a country-rock group First National Band along with Joanne. Also, he released music under his name including country ballads and the Hits Just Keep on Comin.
His most recent release was in 2015 “The Ocean”. He also served as a music producer and in the mid-1970’s he successfully moved into TV production. He directed and wrote the Monkees television special, Hey, Hey, It’s the Monkees in 1997, to support the reunion. On the 50th Monkees’ 50th anniversary he contributed d vocally and instrumentally.
In 2018, for the first time, he toured together along with Dolenz under the banner “The Monkees Present: The Mike and Micky Show” and also contributed two songs for the Monkees’ 13th studio album. His songs crest includes “daydream believer”, “I’m a believer”, “ last train to Clarksville”, “papa gene’s blues”, “the girl I knew somewhere”, “pleasant valley Sunday”, “you just may be the one”, “ sweet young thing”, “ goin’ down”, “what am I doing hangin’ round”, “ the kind of girl I could love”, “ little red rider”, “ auntie’s municipal court”, and many more. In 1998 one published his first book The Long Sandy Hair of Neftoon Zamora and later he published his second novel The America Gene.
